Joining a Landscape & Gardening team based out of Slacks Creek, the successful candidate will complete a 3 Year Apprenticeship to become a qualified Arborist. Servicing from South Brisbane to the Gold Coast, this role encompasses a range of duties including shaping and canopy management, tree health and remediation, environmental development as well as tree dismantling and removal. Established in 2000, with a team of horticulturalists, arborists, landscape architects - this is a unique opportunity for a focused and dedicated individual to gain invaluable exposure to an ever-growing industry. About the Role: 3 Year Apprenticeship, with a Nationally recognised Certificate III in Arboriculture upon completion Learn to inspect trees, perform ground based rigging and tree removal Identify trees and implement maintenance programs Prune, trim and cut felled trees This is a full time role, paid at award right About You: Hold a valid Queensland drivers licence and access to a reliable vehicle Passionate about a career in the Horticulture industry Highly safety conscious at all times Hold a valid White Card Strong communication and team work skills Non-Essential Skills: Certificate II Horticulture Certificate I Conservation and Land Management Chainsaw ticket highly regarded WPC Group: Established in 1982, WPC Group is one of Australia's leading employers of apprentices and trainees.
