About the role Actively participate in all operations, tasks and procedures involved with the maintenance of turf areas, being greens, tees, fairways, landscaping, roughs and nature strips associated with the golf course. These tasks may include, but are not limited to: Mowing, renovations, drainage and bunker maintenance duties.  Monitor and report on the condition of golf areas, including any damaged or dangerous ground fixtures. Complete daily diary, machinery pre start checklists, chemical usage forms and other relevant documentation. Complete TAFE studies associated with the four year apprenticeship Irrigation duties. This includes operation of automatic and manual irrigation systems and also repairs and maintenance of those systems. Perform spray operation duties designed to keep the golf course free of weed, disease and insect pests. Ensure vehicles, plant and equipment are maintained and operated in accordance with safety standards.
