Job Description

WPC Group have an exciting new opportunity for a Mechanical Engineering Apprentice to join the team of a large company based in Wetherill Park, NSW.

As a Mechanical Engineering Apprentice, across your 4 year apprenticeship you will learn how to design, assemble, manufacture, install, modify, test, commission, maintain and service all mechanical equipment, machinery, fluid power systems, stationary and mobile plant equipment, instruments and more.

About You

  • The successful applicant must be of Australian Indigenous background (essential)
  • Completed Year 12 or equivalent (essential)
  • Confident and clear communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong sense of self-motivation and enthusiasm with a high work ethic and 'can do' attitude
  • Physically fit with good hearing, vision, coordination and manual dexterity
  • Good fault-finding and problem solving skills
  • Eager to ask questions
  • Extremely accurate with attention to detail
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Passion in utilising machinery and equipment
