About the Apprenticeship

WPC Group are currently seeking a Parks and Gardens Apprentice to join a leading landscaping business based out of Melbourne's inner suburbs. This business is a leader in their field and service many well-known commercial and government organisations across Melbourne, including public Botanic Gardens. As a Parks and Gardens Apprentice you will learn how to correctly identify plants, measure PH levels of soil, as well as perform outdoor maintenance such as trimming, irrigation, mowing, weeding, planting, and undertake general land maintenance.   

 

About you

  • Physically fit and self-motivated
  • Eager to work outdoors with an extensive variety of work sites, horticultural jobs and projects
  • Strong team mentality with an attitude of helping others
  • Positive attitude towards working full-time and gaining a nationally recognised qualification
  • Willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done
  • A desire for excellence
  • Consistently reliable and punctual at all times
  • Commitment and dedication to TAFE studies
  • Provisional licence and own car is preferable
